Find what to use when you're out of an ingredient.

Search queries — When you search for an ingredient, the query is processed to return results. Search queries are not stored against your identity and are not retained.
Contact form submissions — If you contact us, we store your name, email address, subject, and message so we can reply. We keep these for 12 months.
Ingredient requests — If you submit an ingredient request, we store the ingredient name, your country, and optional email and use-case notes. We keep requests until they are processed.
Hashed IP addresses — We hash IP addresses (using SHA-256, one-way) solely to enforce rate limits on form submissions. Raw IP addresses are never stored.
We use Google AdSense, which sets cookies for ad personalisation. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google's ad settings. We also use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-friendly — it does not identify individual users.
You can request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To do so, contact us with your email address and we'll remove it within 30 days.
